Rwanda is beautiful small land locked situated in South Africa, with population around 11.301 million (2015), of which 52% are women. The overall rural population is young with a density among the highest in Africa. It is bordered by the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to the west, Tanzania to the east, Uganda to the north, and Burundi to the south.

The current account balance for Rwanda was negative declining to be at RWF 1.216 billions for the year 2016 and is expected to continue to decline at a CAGR of 3.01% and reach RWF 1.36 billion by 2022, showing that Rwanda will remain as a borrower from rest of the country and not becoming a lender.
