New Zealand is the world’s largest producer of dairy products and is also the world’s largest exporter of dairy products. Here, the human population is 3 million, but the population of sheep are 50 million.

According to the US study, organic dairy products are more economically useful than the conventional dairy products. Organic milk is one of the examples of organic dairy products.
- Oceania (New Zealand and Australia) is expected to remain the most significant exporter region, with a more than 40% share of the global export market.
- In Latin America milk production is expected to grow by nearly 3% p.a. Brazil’s milk production is projected to grow by 1.7% p.a.milk production in Argentina is expected to reach record levels.
- After peaking in 2011, global dairy product prices are expected to ease as demand adjusts and as supply responds, particularity in Oceania.
