نظرة عامة

Scope of the Report

The global In-car Radar market size is predicted to grow from US$ 8,396 million in 2025 to US$ 24,130 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 16.6% from 2026 to 2032.

In-car radar refers to radar systems integrated into vehicles to enhance safety, driving assistance, and autonomous driving capabilities. These radar systems use radio waves to detect objects, measure their distance, speed, and relative movement, providing crucial data for various advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous functions.

From conventional parking assistance to advanced intelligent driving, in-car radar plays a crucial role. Ultrasonic radar is mainly used in parking radar sensors and has become a widely adopted type of automotive radar. Millimeter-wave radar enables vehicles to achieve limited "autonomous driving" functions, such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, and automatic braking. LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) further enhances a vehicle’s perception of its surroundings. Compared to millimeter-wave radar, LiDAR performs better in terms of detection speed and precision, and it can also outline detailed contours of the surrounding objects more clearly. As a result, most autonomous vehicles currently use LiDAR.
