Scope of the Report

The global Small Petrol Engine market size is predicted to grow from US$ 8,179 million in 2025 to US$ 10,590 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 3.8% from 2026 to 2032.

A gasoline engine is an engine that uses gasoline as fuel to convert internal energy into kinetic energy. Because gasoline has low viscosity and evaporates quickly, the gasoline injection system can be used to inject gasoline into the cylinder, and after compression reaches a certain temperature and pressure, it is ignited with a spark plug to make the gas expand and do work. The characteristics of gasoline engines are high speed, simple structure, light weight, low cost, smooth operation, and easy use and maintenance. Gasoline engines are widely used in cars, especially small cars.

A gasoline engine is a machine that converts chemical energy into mechanical energy. Its conversion process is actually the process of the working cycle. Simply put, it burns the fuel in the cylinder to generate kinetic energy, which drives the piston in the engine cylinder to reciprocate. It drives the connecting rod connected to the piston and the crank connected to the connecting rod to make a reciprocating circular motion around the center of the crankshaft to output power. The disadvantages of gasoline engines are that their thermal efficiency is lower than that of diesel engines, their fuel consumption is higher, their ignition systems are more complex than diesel engines, and their reliability and ease of maintenance are not as good as diesel engines. Therefore, if we want to expand the number of people using gasoline engines, we need to continue to innovate in science and technology, improve thermal efficiency, and reduce the possibility of knocking and cylinder pull.
