Scope of the Report
Silicone oil is a type of polydimethylsiloxane with chain like structures of different degrees of polymerization. As a unique material, it plays a crucial role in numerous fields. It has multiple different types, each with unique performance characteristics, and is closely related to polymer materials. Among them, silicone oil can be used as a light absorbing agent in photovoltaic adhesive films. As the core material of photovoltaic modules, photovoltaic adhesive film plays a protective role in solar cells, preventing them from being affected by external environment during operation, extending the service life of photovoltaic modules, and maximizing the penetration of sunlight through the adhesive film to reach the cells, thereby improving the power generation efficiency of photovoltaic modules. Photovoltaic encapsulation film needs to ensure a 25 year service life for solar modules and is an indispensable core auxiliary material in the photovoltaic industry.
Concentrating Photovoltaic (CPV) is a novel solar power generation technology. In a concentrated photovoltaic power generation system, the injection of high light intensity will result in the generation of high heat (usually 25% to 36% of the incident light is converted into electrical energy), causing the temperature of the battery to rise, which will greatly reduce the output efficiency of the battery. Therefore, it is necessary to effectively cool the battery using the liquid immersion cooling method, which involves directly immersing the solar cell in an insulating medium and using the flowing cooling liquid to remove the heat from the surface of the battery, thus achieving the purpose of effectively cooling the solar cell. However, the spotlight system works outdoors for a long time, and the natural environment's light, heat, oxygen, rain, snow, wind, and other factors constantly erode various parts of the system. The photovoltaic system requires consistent service life for each part to avoid the entire system being paralyzed due to damage in one area. In order to ensure the reliable operation of photovoltaic cooling systems, it is necessary to investigate the effects of high temperature and strong ultraviolet radiation on the cooling medium.
