نظرة عامة

Scope of the Report

The global BPA-Based Fluid Epoxy Resin market size is predicted to grow from US$ 4,505 million in 2025 to US$ 6,833 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.6% from 2026 to 2032.

In 2025, global sales volume of BPA-Based Fluid Epoxy Resin reached 2,076.14 k tons, with an average global market price of US$2,109 per ton and an industry average gross margin of about 10.1%.

The major upstream raw materials include epichlorohydrin, bisphenol A, sodium hydroxide, organic solvents, and others. Major upstream suppliers include Olin, LOTTE Fine Chemical, INEOS, SABIC, LG Chem, CCP, Nan Ya Plastics, and others. Major downstream customers include PPG, AkzoNobel, BASF, Henkel, Arkema, Owens Corning, DuPont, Solvay, and others.

BPA-Based Fluid Epoxy Resin is a class of low-molecular-weight thermosetting epoxy resins produced primarily from bisphenol A and epichlorohydrin through etherification, ring-closure, and related reactions under alkaline conditions. Its principal chemical structure is diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A, with highly reactive epoxy groups located at both ends of the molecule. At room temperature or under specified temperature conditions, it typically appears as a transparent or pale-yellow viscous liquid. BPA-Based Fluid Epoxy Resin features relatively high epoxy group content, good adhesion and wettability, favorable mechanical properties, excellent electrical insulation, chemical and corrosion resistance, and good dimensional stability. It can undergo ring-opening crosslinking reactions with various curing agents, including amines, anhydrides, and polyamides, to form cured materials with a three-dimensional network structure. BPA-Based Fluid Epoxy Resin is one of the most widely used and largest-volume basic liquid epoxy resin products. Different grades are generally classified according to epoxy equivalent weight, viscosity, purity, color, hydrolyzable chlorine content, and other specifications, with typical grades including 128, 828, and E-51. Benefiting from mature raw material supply, well-established production processes, balanced overall performance, and good formulation flexibility, BPA-Based Fluid Epoxy Resin is widely used in industrial and anticorrosive coatings, adhesives, composite materials, electrical and electronic insulation, potting materials, and other applications, making it one of the most important basic resin categories in the epoxy resin industry.
