نظرة عامة

Scope of the Report

The global Vinylamine market size is predicted to grow from US$ 1,555 million in 2025 to US$ 1,966 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 2.8% from 2026 to 2032.

In 2025, the global sales volume of Amine-based Curative reached 609.64 k tons, with a global average price of 2,479 US$/MT and an industry average gross margin of 18.9%.

The major upstream raw materials include dichloroethane, ethanolamine, and others.

Major upstream suppliers include Dow, BASF, AkzoNobel, Formosa Plastics Corporation, and others.

Major downstream customers include Evonik, Westlake, Kukdo Chemical, Cardolite, Aditya Birla, Atul, and others.

Vinylamine refers to a class of organic amine compounds containing multiple amino groups connected through ethylene-based chain segments. Major products include ethylenediamine, diethylenetriamine, triethylenetetramine, tetraethylenepentamine, pentaethylenehexamine, as well as piperazine, aminoethylpiperazine, aminoethylethanolamine, and higher-molecular-weight polyethylene polyamines. Vinylamine generally features relatively high amine functionality and strong chemical reactivity. The primary and secondary amine groups in its molecular structure can react with various functional groups, including epoxy groups, carboxyl groups, and isocyanate groups. Therefore, Vinylamine can be used directly as a chemical reaction raw material or further processed into epoxy resin curing agents, polyamides, amidoamines, surfactants, chelating agents, corrosion inhibitors, lubricant and fuel additives, paper chemicals, and oilfield chemicals. Industrially, Vinylamine is typically sold in the form of individually separated products such as ethylenediamine and diethylenetriamine, as well as mixtures of higher polyamines. Different products vary significantly in molecular weight, amine value, boiling point, viscosity, reactivity, and application performance. The Vinylamine industry involves relatively complex production processes, as multiple amine homologues and cyclic by-products are typically generated simultaneously during production and must be separated and purified through distillation to obtain different commercial product grades. Due to its strong reactivity, good crosslinking capability, and broad potential for chemical modification, Vinylamine is widely used in epoxy resins, coatings, adhesives, automotive and industrial lubricants, agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, papermaking, water treatment, textiles, and petrochemicals.
