Scope of the Report

The global Firehose market size is predicted to grow from US$ 678 million in 2025 to US$ 872 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 3.7% from 2026 to 2032.

In 2025, global Firehose production reached approximately 768 million meters with average price of 0.9 USD/meter.

A fire hose is a flexible pressure hose used to deliver water, foam solution or other firefighting media. It is a key fluid transfer product used by fire brigades, building fire hydrant systems, industrial fire protection, forestry firefighting, marine firefighting and emergency drainage operations. A typical fire hose consists of an outer jacket, an inner lining and couplings. The outer jacket provides tensile strength, abrasion resistance and pressure resistance, while the inner lining reduces flow resistance and improves sealing performance. Couplings connect the hose to hydrants, fire trucks, pumps, manifolds, nozzles and other firefighting equipment. By material, fire hoses can be divided into rubber lined fire hoses, polyvinyl chloride lined fire hoses, polyurethane lined fire hoses and thermoplastic polyurethane fire hoses. By structure, they include single jacket hoses, double jacket hoses, rubber covered hoses, layflat hoses and semi-rigid hoses. Key performance requirements include pressure resistance, abrasion resistance, aging resistance, flexibility, low-temperature performance, corrosion resistance and fast deployment capability.

The upstream supply chain of fire hoses mainly includes synthetic yarns, rubber, polyvinyl chloride, polyurethane, thermoplastic polyurethane, coating materials, adhesives, metal couplings, seals and packaging materials. The midstream manufacturing process includes yarn weaving, inner lining extrusion or coating, vulcanization or lamination, outer surface treatment, coupling assembly, pressure testing, burst pressure testing, length inspection, appearance inspection and final packaging. Manufacturers can be divided into specialized fire hose producers, integrated fire equipment companies, industrial hose manufacturers and regional supporting suppliers. Downstream applications include fire and rescue departments, building fire protection projects, petrochemical plants, mining, power generation, metallurgy, warehousing and logistics, ships and ports, forestry firefighting, municipal emergency services and industrial parks. Product safety and quality consistency are critical in this industry. Pressure rating, burst strength, coupling reliability, abrasion life and certification capability are important barriers for entering the mid-to-high-end market.

Global key players of firehose include Key Hose, All-American Hose, North American Fire Hose, Angus Fire, BullDog Hose Company, etc. The top five players hold a share about 16%.

The fire hose market is a mature market with strong baseline demand. Growth is mainly driven by urban fire protection upgrades, increasing industrial safety investment, fire system renovation in old buildings, demand from petrochemical and new energy industries, forest fire prevention, emergency drainage under extreme weather conditions and upgrades in firefighting equipment standards. Demand for standard building fire hoses is stable but price competition is relatively strong. Municipal firefighting, industrial firefighting, forestry firefighting and marine firefighting require higher pressure resistance, abrasion resistance, lightweight design, weather resistance and longer service life, creating better opportunities for product upgrading. In the future, the market will continue to shift from low-end standard hoses toward high-strength, lightweight, abrasion-resistant, oil-resistant, chemical-resistant and long-life products. The share of polyurethane and thermoplastic polyurethane fire hoses is expected to increase in high-performance applications. Fire emergency system development, stricter industrial park safety supervision and the expansion of large warehousing and logistics facilities will also support replacement demand for reliable fire hoses. Overall, fire hoses are not an explosive growth category, but they remain a stable consumable and replacement product within basic firefighting equipment, with future competition focused on reliability, material performance, certification capability, channel coverage and integrated fire equipment supply capability.
