نظرة عامة

Scope of the Report

The global Melt Spun Fiber market size is predicted to grow from US$ 198,424 million in 2025 to US$ 268,904 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 4.5% from 2026 to 2032.

Melt Spun Fiber is a synthetic fiber produced by melting a thermoplastic polymer and extruding the molten material through fine spinnerets to form continuous filaments, which are then cooled, solidified, drawn, and wound into fibers with desired mechanical properties. Common polymers used in melt spinning include polyester (PET), polypropylene (PP), nylon (PA), polyethylene (PE), polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), and specialty engineering plastics. Melt spinning is one of the most widely used and cost-effective fiber manufacturing processes because it eliminates the need for solvents and enables high-speed, large-scale production. The supply chain begins with upstream petrochemical and polymer producers supplying polymer resins and additives, followed by fiber manufacturers that perform melt extrusion, filament drawing, texturing, and finishing operations. Midstream participants convert the fibers into yarns, nonwoven fabrics, industrial textiles, technical fabrics, ropes, geotextiles, filtration media, and reinforcement materials. Downstream demand comes from apparel and fashion, home textiles, automotive interiors, hygiene products, medical disposables, packaging, construction, filtration, agriculture, and industrial applications, creating a highly integrated global value chain spanning raw materials, fiber production, textile processing, and end-use manufacturing. In 2025, global Melt Spun Fiber output was about 110 million tons with 120 million tons of capacity, average prices of USD 1,500–3,000 per ton, and gross margins around 21%.

Global key Melt Spun Fiber players cover Tongkun Group (China), Zhejiang Hengyi Group (China), Xin Feng Ming Group (China), Sinopec Yizheng (China), Jiangsu Hengli (China), etc.
