Scope of the Report
A plastic implant abutment is a base part of an artificial tooth root used in dental implant restorations, usually made of medical polymer materials. It is a component that connects the implant to the restoration, located between the oral soft tissue and the artificial tooth root, and is used to support the crown or other restoration on the implant. The plastic implant abutment has good biocompatibility and biostability, which can reduce the damage to the own bone tissue and relieve the patient"s pain during the implant surgery. Compared with traditional metal abutments, plastic abutments are lighter, their color and texture are closer to natural teeth, they will not cause discomfort to oral soft tissues, and they are also easier to customize and process restorations.
Global key Plastic Implant Abutment players cover Cowellmedi, Biotec Dental Implant Development GmbH, ZimVie Inc, Nobel Biocare Services AG, MIS Implants Technologies Ltd., etc.
