Scope of the Report
The visual bronchial catheter is an advanced medical device that combines the functions of a traditional bronchial catheter with modern visualization technology. Specifically, the visual bronchial catheter has a high-definition camera or other imaging equipment built into the front end or specific position of the catheter, allowing doctors to observe the situation inside the airway in real time when performing tracheal intubation or bronchial intubation, thereby significantly improving the accuracy and safety of intubation. Through the built-in camera, doctors can clearly see the structure of the trachea and bronchi, avoiding the risks that may be caused by blind insertion, such as misentering the esophagus, damaging the vocal cords or trachea, etc. After intubation is completed, the visual bronchial catheter can also continuously monitor the airway condition, including airway patency, secretions, etc., to provide doctors with timely diagnosis and treatment basis. In certain circumstances, such as suspected airway foreign bodies, airway stenosis or tumors, the visual bronchial catheter can also be used as an auxiliary diagnostic tool to help doctors clarify the condition.
Visual endobronchial catheters use embedded high-definition cameras to visualize the process of intubation and monitor the airway during indwelling, greatly improving the safety and success rate of endotracheal intubation. This technology has been increasingly used in clinical work, especially in emergency endotracheal intubation and complex surgery. At present, although visual endotracheal intubation scopes have been used in provincial tertiary hospitals and some larger municipal tertiary hospitals, their popularity across the country still needs to be improved. With the advancement of medical technology and the increase in patient safety needs, the market demand for visual endobronchial catheters continues to grow. In particular, with the increase in the elderly population and the rising incidence of cardiovascular diseases, cancer and respiratory diseases, the demand for endotracheal intubation is also increasing. According to data such as the "China Health Statistics Yearbook", the market capacity for endotracheal catheters required for general anesthesia surgery is huge, which provides a broad market space for visual endobronchial catheters.
