Scope of the Report

The global Oil Filled Nylon market size is predicted to grow from US$ 1,068 million in 2025 to US$ 1,509 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.1% from 2026 to 2032.

Oil-filled nylon is a self-lubricating engineering thermoplastic produced by compounding standard polyamide resins (most commonly PA6 or PA66) with mineral or synthetic oils that are absorbed or dispersed within the polymer matrix, significantly reducing friction, wear, and noise while improving sliding performance under load. It is widely used in gears, bushings, bearings, wear pads, and conveyor components across industrial machinery, automotive, material handling, and packaging equipment. The supply chain begins upstream with petrochemical feedstocks used to produce caprolactam (for PA6) or hexamethylenediamine and adipic acid (for PA66), alongside base oils and lubricant additives; midstream, resin producers and compounders melt-blend nylon pellets with controlled oil content and stabilizers via twin-screw extrusion and pelletizing; downstream, processors convert oil-filled nylon into finished components through extrusion, injection molding, or machining, which are then supplied to OEMs and maintenance markets through direct contracts or industrial distributors. In 2025, the global oil-filled nylon market produces approximately 185,000 tons against an installed capacity of about 230,000 tons, with average unit prices ranging from USD 4,800 to 8,500 per ton and an average gross margin of around 30% across major producers.

Global key Oil Filled Nylon players cover Cast Nylons (UK), Ensinger (Germany), Mitsubishi Chemical (Japan), BASF (Germany), Celanese (USA), etc.
