Scope of the Report

The global 1,4-Cyclohexan Dimethanol Divinyl Ether (CHDM-di) market size is predicted to grow from US$ 16.33 million in 2025 to US$ 23.79 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.2% from 2026 to 2032.

1,4-Cyclohexan dimethanol divinyl ether (CHDM-di) CAS No. 17351-75-6, is a bifunctional active monomer with 1,4-Cyclohexanediol as the backbone and vinyl ether functional groups at both ends of the molecule. This product is usually a mixture of cis trans isomers, characterized by high reactivity, low viscosity, strong crosslinking ability, and good compatibility with the formula. It can be used as a polymerization monomer, crosslinking agent, and reactive diluent. CHDM di can participate in free radical curing, peroxide curing, and cationic UV curing reactions, and is mainly used in UV coatings, UV inks, adhesives, sealants, unsaturated polyester resins, release coatings, and special polymer synthesis.

CHDM di is a special vinyl ether monomer with a small number of suppliers and strong application specialization. Its market growth is mainly driven by the demand for UV curing materials, low volatile organic coatings, fast curing adhesives, electronic packaging materials, and high-performance resins. Compared with ordinary monofunctional vinyl ethers, CHDM di contains two reactive functional groups, which can improve the crosslinking density, heat resistance, chemical resistance, and dimensional stability of the cured system. At the same time, the cyclohexane structure helps to balance the hardness and flexibility of the cured material, making it more suitable for high-performance coating, ink, and structural adhesive formulations. The focus of future industry competition will be on purity, color, moisture, control of polymerization inhibitors, storage stability, and batch consistency, rather than solely relying on price.
