Scope of the Report

The global Dental Cone-Beam Computer Tomography Equipment market size is predicted to grow from US$ million in 2025 to US$ million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of %from 2026 to 2032.

Oral CBCT (Cone beam CT, referred to as CBCT), that is, cone beam projection computerized reconstruction tomography imaging equipment, the principle is that the X-ray generator surrounds the projection with a low dose of radiation (usually the current of the tube is about 10 mA). The body is digitally projected in a ring; then the data obtained in the "intersection" after the digital projection around the projection body many times (180-360 times, depending on the product) is "reorganized" in the computer to obtain a three-dimensional image. The projection principle of CBCT acquisition data is completely different from that of traditional helical scan CT. Compared with traditional oral imaging methods, CBCT can provide accurate three-dimensional structural information. The projection data of traditional helical scan CT is one-dimensional, and the reconstructed image The data is two-dimensional, and the reconstructed three-dimensional image is formed by stacking multiple consecutive two-dimensional slices, so the metal artifacts in the image are heavy. CBCT adopts cone-beam X-ray scanning, which can significantly improve the utilization rate of X-rays. It only needs to rotate 360 degrees to obtain all the original data required for reconstruction, and the use of planar detectors to collect projection data can accelerate the data acquisition speed.

Global key Dental Cone-Beam Computer Tomography Equipment players cover Kavo, New Tom, Planmeca, Dentsply Sirona, Careatream Health, etc.
