Cork insulation board is a kind of insulation material made of cork as the main raw material. Cork insulation board is made by processing cork particles or cork flakes, and using special processes to form it into a board with insulation function without adding harmful chemicals. Cork itself has many unique physical properties. It is a honeycomb structure that contains a large number of tiny air pockets, which make cork have good elasticity, cushioning and thermal insulation properties. Cork has a low density, generally between 0.12 - 0.24g/cm³, which also contributes to its thermal insulation performance, because the air content in low-density materials is relatively high, and air is a good thermal insulator. In the building exterior wall insulation system, cork insulation board can be used as an insulation layer and used in conjunction with other building materials (such as exterior wall tiles, coatings, etc.) to improve the thermal insulation performance of the building.
Global key Cork Insulation Boards players cover ThermaCork, CorkSol UK, Divine Cork, Amorim Cork Insulation, Charles Cantrill Ltd, etc.
