Scope of the Report

Nitrogen Phosphorus and Calcium Meter is an instrument used to determine the content of nitrogen, phosphorus and calcium. The determination of crude protein is that ammonium sulfate is distilled under strong alkali conditions, so that ammonia escapes and absorbed by boric acid, and the content of nitrogen multiplied by 6.25 is the crude protein content after titration with standard acid; the determination of phosphorus is that phosphorus is mixed with vanadium molybdenum aluminum under acidic conditions. Ammonia acts to form a yellow ammonium vanadate complex, and its phosphorus content is proportional to the absorbance in colorimetry at a wavelength of 420nm.
