概観

Scope of the Report

The global Type A Bulk Bags market size is predicted to grow from US$ 2,766 million in 2025 to US$ 3,922 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.2% from 2026 to 2032.

In 2025, global production of Type A bulk bags reached 912 million units, with an estimated average selling price of US$3.1 per unit. Type A Bulk Bags are the most basic, ordinary flexible medium-sized bulk containers, also known as ordinary ton bags or ordinary bulk bags. They are typically composed of ordinary polypropylene (PP) woven fabric, straps, sewing thread, and inlet/outlet structures. They do not contain conductive yarn and lack anti-static or static dissipation functions, making them suitable only for non-flammable materials. The environment in which they are used should not contain flammable gases, vapors, or combustible dust. Applications are concentrated in building materials, cement, sand and gravel, minerals, fertilizers, grains, feed, plastic particles, general chemicals, agricultural products, sawdust, recycled materials, and non-hazardous dry bulk cargo logistics. The upstream of the industry chain mainly includes PP resin, PP flat yarn, UV stabilizers, masterbatches, sewing thread, straps, PE inner lining film, labels, and pallets; the midstream includes drawing, weaving, laminating, cutting, printing, sewing, inspection, and packaging; and the downstream includes agriculture, construction, mining, chemicals, food, plastics, logistics warehousing, and waste treatment industries. Gross profit margins range from approximately 18% to 28%.

Regionally, the Asia-Pacific region is a major production and consumption area, with China, India, and Vietnam being major manufacturing bases. Demand is strong in agriculture, chemicals, building materials, minerals, and export packaging. Europe and North America account for higher value demand, primarily driven by food, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, plastics, and industrial logistics, with higher requirements for food-grade, cleanliness, traceability, recyclability, and supply chain compliance. Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa are mainly driven by agrochemicals, mining, fertilizers, cement, petrochemicals, and food logistics. In the future, growth will shift from simply expanding production at low prices to lightweight, high-strength PP fabrics, automated sewing, food-grade and clean production, recyclable/recycled PP materials, coating and lining composites, leak-proof structures, QR code traceability, and regionalized supply chains. Meanwhile, Type A bags will be replaced by Type B/C/D electrostatic protective bags in flammable powder and explosion-proof scenarios, but will still maintain the largest volume in the non-hazardous general dry bulk cargo sector. Long-term demand will be mainly driven by the growth of global chemicals, agriculture, building materials, mining, food processing, and cross-border bulk logistics.
