概観

Scope of the Report

The global Mains Isolation Relay market size is predicted to grow from US$ 262 million in 2025 to US$ 383 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.6% from 2026 to 2032.

In 2025, global mains isolation relay production reached approximately 3118 k units, the average price is 86 usd/unit. Mains isolation relays are a type of power-side switching device that achieves electrical isolation through coil-contact magnetic coupling. The low-voltage control circuit drives the coil, while the insulated contact side carries the main power supply switching/distribution, isolating the control signal circuit from the power circuit potential. They are used for maintenance isolation, fault blocking, UPS/bypass switching, and PLC load control, improving safety and anti-interference capabilities while reducing mutual interference and leakage path risks.

Market Concentration and Major Players:

Internationally, the market concentration of power isolation relays is relatively high, mainly concentrated in developed countries in Europe and America. Large manufacturers include Hengstler, for example. Domestically, the power isolation relay market still has significant room for development.

Manufacturing Process and Market Trends:

Power isolation relays use an electromagnetic coil and insulated contact bridge as the framework. First, electrical pure iron or soft magnetic alloy is selected as the core and precision machined after stress relief through annealing. Then, enameled copper wire is automatically and precisely wound on the insulated framework, with layered insulation and vacuum impregnation curing. Subsequently, silver alloy contacts are fixed to the spring contacts by laser welding or micro-rivetizing. Micron-level air gap and contact pressure calibration is performed on the armature spring magnetic circuit. Finally, it is installed in a flame-retardant thermoplastic shell for epoxy potting or molding encapsulation and terminal crimping. Throughout the process, incoming material inspection, winding resistance, insulation strength, and spring life tests (temperature cycling vibration, etc.) are conducted to ensure long-term reliability. Market demand is increasingly coming from energy storage converters, photovoltaic DC side, UPS, and equipment maintenance isolation scenarios. Products are moving towards higher voltage resistance, larger current carrying capacity, and stronger arc extinguishing seals. At the same time, self-diagnostic temperature and current sensing and communication module forms are emerging. Environmentally friendly materials and stricter safety regulations for hazardous substances are also raising the design and compliance thresholds.
