Scope of the Report
The global Mini Split Heat Pumps market size is predicted to grow from US$ million in 2025 to US$ million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of %from 2026 to 2032.
Mini-split heat pumps, also known as ductless heat pumps or mini-split HVAC systems, are energy-efficient heating and cooling systems that can both heat and cool indoor spaces. They work similarly to mini-split air conditioners but have the added capability of providing heating during colder months.
Mini-split heat pumps provide both heating and cooling capabilities in a single system. They use a reverse cycle refrigeration process to extract heat from outdoor air (even in cold temperatures) and transfer it indoors to warm the space. During cooling mode, the process is reversed to remove heat from indoor air.Mini-split heat pumps are known for their energy efficiency. They use inverter technology to modulate the compressor speed, consuming less energy compared to traditional heating systems. This results in energy savings and lower utility bills.Mini-split heat pumps offer flexibility in installation since they do not require ductwork. This makes them suitable for retrofitting older buildings or homes without existing ducts, or for room additions where extending the existing central heating and cooling system may be impractical.
