Scope of the Report

The global Vehicle-To-Grid (V2G) market size is predicted to grow from US$ 144 million in 2025 to US$ 8,790 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 80.9% from 2026 to 2032.

Vehicle-to-grid, or V2G technology, is defined as a system that is capable of controlling the bidirectional flow of electricity between the vehicle and the grid. Electricity flows from the grid to the vehicle to charge the battery. Also, electricity can flow back from the vehicle to the grid when required. A majority of the time, electric vehicles are not in use. During this idle time, the batteries of these vehicles can be utilized for supplying electricity back to the grid.

Global vehicle-to-grid (V2G) core manufacturers include NUVVE, Enel Energia, The Mobility House and State Grid. The top three manufacturers account for approximately 62% of the global share. NUVVE is the world's largest vehicle-to-grid manufacturer, with a market share of approximately 23%.

From a production perspective, the United States&Canada, Europe and China are the world's major vehicle-to-grid production regions, with the three together accounting for more than 86% of the market share.

In terms of product types, two-way V2G occupies a dominant position, accounting for 80% of the market share. At the same time, in terms of applications, pure electric vehicles are the largest application field, accounting for 72%.

This report presents a comprehensive overview of the global Vehicle-To-Grid (V2G) market, covering market size and forecast, segmentation by product type and application, competitive landscape, leading players and regional and country-level outlook.
