개요

Scope of the Report

The global Base Metal Conductor Paste market size is predicted to grow from US$ 705 million in 2025 to US$ 1,083 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 6.4% from 2026 to 2032.

Base metal conductor paste is a thick film conductor paste with base metals such as copper (Cu), nickel (Ni), aluminum (Al) and their alloys as the conductive phase. Compared with precious metal conductor paste (such as Ag, Au, Pt, etc.), base metal conductor paste has advantages such as low cost and abundant resources, but technical challenges such as oxidation resistance and conductive stability need to be solved. Cu metal has many excellent properties. Cu has better high-frequency characteristics and conductivity than the precious metal Au. At the same time, Cu does not have migration defects like Ag, and Cu has a higher melting point than Ag, which can make the sample sintering range wider. In addition, Cu also has excellent solderability and low cost. Copper powder has many advantages, but copper is easily oxidized in the air, especially in a high-temperature oxygen environment, where oxidation is particularly obvious and resistance rises sharply, affecting its application. Ni metal and Cu metal have similar properties, with good conductivity, chemical stability and solderability, but also poor high-temperature oxidation resistance, and need to be sintered in an inert atmosphere. In order to reduce costs, companies are constantly seeking base metals with good performance as substitutes, and base metal slurries have become the development direction of electronic slurries.

Global key Base Metal Conductor Paste players cover Shoei Chemical, Sumitomo Metal Mining, Chang Sung Corporation, DuPont, Heraeus, etc.
