개요

Scope of the Report

The global Moisture Cure Urethane market size is predicted to grow from US$ 9,492 million in 2025 to US$ 14,852 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 6.6% from 2026 to 2032.

Moisture Cure Urethane is a polyurethane-based material that cures through a chemical reaction with moisture in the air or substrate, forming durable elastomeric, adhesive, coating, sealant, or foam structures with strong adhesion, flexibility, chemical resistance, and weatherability. It is widely used in construction, automotive, electronics, industrial assembly, wood processing, marine, and packaging applications. The supply chain begins with upstream raw materials such as polyols (polyether polyols, polyester polyols), isocyanates including MDI (methylene diphenyl diisocyanate) and TDI (toluene diisocyanate), catalysts, plasticizers, fillers, pigments, solvents, and specialty additives supplied by petrochemical and specialty chemical companies. Midstream manufacturers formulate these materials into one-component or two-component moisture cure urethane adhesives, coatings, sealants, foams, and encapsulants through blending, prepolymer synthesis, and packaging processes. Downstream distribution channels include industrial chemical distributors, construction material suppliers, automotive aftermarket suppliers, and OEM direct sales networks. End users are mainly from construction and infrastructure, automotive manufacturing, electronics and electrical equipment, furniture and woodworking, aerospace, marine, footwear, renewable energy, and general industrial manufacturing sectors. In 2025, global Moisture Cure Urethane output was about 3.5 million tons with 4.0 million tons of capacity, average prices of USD 2,500–6,500 per ton, and gross margins around 29%.

Global key Moisture Cure Urethane players cover Henkel (Germany), H.B. Fuller (USA), Sika (Switzerland), Arkema (France), 3M (USA), etc.
