개요

Scope of the Report

The global CVD Diamond Coated End Mill market size is predicted to grow from US$ 127 million in 2025 to US$ 194 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 6.2% from 2026 to 2032.

CVD Diamond Coated End Mills are high-performance milling tools with a pure diamond film grown on the surface of a cemented carbide substrate using chemical vapor deposition (CVD) technology. They combine the strength and toughness of cemented carbide with the ultra-high hardness of diamond, making them the preferred tool for machining high-hardness, highly abrasive non-metallic materials.

The upstream mainly includes ultrafine-grained cemented carbide rods, tungsten-cobalt-based cemented carbide substrates, CVD deposition gas sources such as methane/hydrogen, diamond micron powder or seed crystals, tool grinding wheels, pretreatment chemicals, and precision testing consumables. The cemented carbide substrate determines the tool's rigidity, chip resistance, and edge retention; the CVD deposition process determines the coating thickness, adhesion, grain structure, and wear life; and edge pretreatment and post-treatment affect sharpness, chip removal, and surface quality. The midstream includes tool design, grinding shaping, and CVD diamond coating deposition.

Global sales are projected to reach approximately 2.1 million units by 2025, with an average price of approximately US$55–80 per unit. The gross profit margin for major manufacturers in the industry is estimated at approximately 35%–45%.

Global key CVD Diamond Coated End Mill players cover Harvey Tool, Mitsubishi Materials, OSG, NS Tool, MOLDINO Tool Engineering, etc.
