개요

Scope of the Report

The global Fire-Proof Door-Class A market size is predicted to grow from US$ 1,957 million in 2025 to US$ 2,449 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 3.3% from 2026 to 2032.

A fire door is a door with a fire-resistance rating (sometimes referred to as a fire protection rating for closures) used as part of a passive fire protection system to reduce the spread of fire and smoke between separate compartments of a structure and to enable safe egress from a building or structure or ship.

The core materials of fire doors consist of three main components: frame, filling, and facing: Steel doors mostly use 0.8–1.2 mm hot-dip galvanized steel coils for the door frame/door leaf, while wooden doors use pine/fir laminated timber treated with flame retardant impregnation and drying; the main internal filling is 50–80 kg/m³ expanded perlite board or rock wool board, which provides heat insulation and smoke suppression. Hardware must use steel fire-resistant locks, hinges, and door closers with a melting point of ≥800 ℃. Raw material costs account for approximately 65–70% of the total cost, of which steel (or solid wood) accounts for 35–40%, filling core material 15–20%, fire-resistant hardware 10–15%, and the rest for fire-resistant sealing strips, glass, and other accessories; labor and manufacturing costs account for 20%, and sales/transportation/profit account for 10–15%.
