Scope of the Report
The global Dryer Fabrics market size is predicted to grow from US$ 575 million in 2025 to US$ 796 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.5% from 2026 to 2032.
Global sales of Dryer Fabrics was about 28960 tons in 2025 with average price of 20.3 USD/kg. The average gross margin of the industry is between 20%-25%. Dryer Fabrics are the one of most common consumbles during the paper production.
Dryer fabrics are technical textiles used in the dryer section of a paper machine (also called dryer canvases/screens/belts). They support, carry, and stabilize the paper web during drying, help maintain proper contact with dryer cylinders (or drying elements), and manage air/steam flow through controlled permeability and surface design, improving drying efficiency and runnability while reducing breaks and surface defects.
Demand for dryer fabrics is fundamentally driven by papermakers’ push for higher speed, fewer breaks, and lower energy consumption. Across printing & writing, packaging grades, and tissue, any instability in the dryer section—tracking issues, flutter, wrinkles, sticking, or marks—can translate into costly downtime and waste, so mills are willing to pay for better runnability, web support/contact control, and optimized air/heat transfer through controlled permeability. In parallel, higher recycled-fiber usage in containerboard and premiumization in tissue (softness, bulk, absorbency) amplify requirements for fabric surface design, cleanliness, and process fit (Yankee and TAD).
The toughest challenge is balancing durability, processability, and repeatable performance. Dryer fabrics must maintain dimensional stability and lifetime under hot, humid conditions with tension fluctuations, chemical cleaning, and contaminants (pitch/stickies), while also delivering low marking risk, uniform permeability, and reliable seams—any weakness can quickly show up as defects or breaks. At the same time, mills continuously push for cost and lead-time reductions, while fabrics remain multi-step, know-how-intensive products (weaving, heat-setting, seaming, testing, and on-site support), making batch-to-batch consistency and effect replication difficult. Sustainability and compliance expectations around materials, coatings/auxiliaries, and recyclability are also rising.
Dryer fabrics is moving toward higher performance, tighter controllability, and more service- and data-driven offerings. On the product side, specialization for high-speed machines and advanced drying concepts is increasing—more uniform high-permeability designs, contamination-resistant/easy-clean surfaces, low-marking structures, and continued innovation in structured drying belts (e.g., TAD belts), along with seams engineered for faster changes and higher reliability. On the operations side, suppliers are adopting monitoring, data-backed selection, and lifetime prediction, shifting from selling a fabric to delivering “fabric + field service + performance outcomes.” Finally, low-carbon and design-for-recycling material strategies, plus more localized production footprints closer to key customers, are becoming important competitive differentiators.

Company profiles built from public financial disclosures, product launches, M&A activity, job postings (as capability proxies), and supply chain mapping. Market share estimates triangulated across revenue, capacity, and shipment data.
CAGR projections use time-series regression on 5-10 years of historical data, adjusted for identified demand drivers (technology adoption curves, regulatory catalysts, demographic shifts) and demand inhibitors (cost barriers, substitution risk). Scenario modeling covers base, optimistic, and conservative cases.
All quantitative outputs reviewed by a domain-specialist analyst before publication. Data triangulation requires minimum 3 independent sources for every key figure. Reports undergo a structured peer review against our 47-point quality checklist covering methodology, data citations, logical consistency, and formatting standards.
On-demand reports are generated at time of purchase, incorporating the most recent available data. Static reports are republished when underlying market conditions shift by >10% from baseline assumptions. Purchasers receive update notifications for 12 months.
