Scope of the Report
The global Eutectic Machine market size is predicted to grow from US$ 958 million in 2025 to US$ 1,586 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 7.5% from 2026 to 2032.
Eutectic machines are primarily used to precisely mount chips or components onto substrates or carriers using eutectic bonding technology. Eutectic bonding refers to a crystalline structure formed by a homogeneous mixture of two or more components in a specific ratio in the solid state. When the temperature reaches the eutectic point, the material rapidly solidifies from the liquid phase to form the eutectic structure.
Working Principle: The core workflow of a eutectic bonding machine includes preheating, positioning, pick-up, calibration, and loading/unloading. Its working principle is based on eutectic bonding technology:
1. Heating the chip and gold-plated base or solder sheet to the eutectic temperature (e.g., approximately 183°C for tin-lead alloys);
2. Precisely controlling the temperature profile to achieve heating, holding, and cooling;
3. Under the influence of temperature and pressure, metal atoms diffuse and fuse to form dense eutectic solder joints;
4. After cooling, the grains formed in the liquid phase combine into a mechanical mixture, achieving high-reliability mounting.
Technical Advantages:
High-precision placement: Achieves placement accuracy of ±1µm, suitable for optoelectronic and laser component packaging;
Excellent thermal and electrical conductivity: Eutectic solder joints quickly dissipate chip heat, improving electrical performance and thermal management capabilities;
High reliability: High solder joint strength, excellent heat and wear resistance, suitable for high-power, high-frequency devices.
Eutectic machines are widely used in semiconductor packaging, optical modules, laser diodes (LDs), power chips, and other fields. Due to the high strength and special structure of eutectic alloy materials, they are also used in aerospace, automotive manufacturing, and electronic equipment industries.
In 2025, global eutectic machine sales reached 2,200 units, with a production capacity of approximately 3,000 units, an average selling price of US$445,000 per unit, and an average gross profit margin of 38%-45%.
Global key Eutectic Machine players cover ASMPT, Kulicke & Soffa, Shinkawa, Besi, Mycronic, etc.

All MarketResearchReports.com strategic research reports follow a rigorous, multi-stage methodology combining AI-assisted data synthesis with expert analyst validation.
Systematic collection from 500+ verified sources including SEC filings, industry databases (Bloomberg, Statista, OECD), regulatory filings, trade publications, patent databases, and company annual reports. AI-assisted extraction identifies relevant data points across 10,000+ documents per report.
Dual-validation approach: bottom-up sizing aggregates segment-level production, consumption, and trade data; top-down sizing cross-validates against macroeconomic indicators and total addressable market estimates. Discrepancies >5% trigger analyst review.
Company profiles built from public financial disclosures, product launches, M&A activity, job postings (as capability proxies), and supply chain mapping. Market share estimates triangulated across revenue, capacity, and shipment data.
CAGR projections use time-series regression on 5-10 years of historical data, adjusted for identified demand drivers (technology adoption curves, regulatory catalysts, demographic shifts) and demand inhibitors (cost barriers, substitution risk). Scenario modeling covers base, optimistic, and conservative cases.
All quantitative outputs reviewed by a domain-specialist analyst before publication. Data triangulation requires minimum 3 independent sources for every key figure. Reports undergo a structured peer review against our 47-point quality checklist covering methodology, data citations, logical consistency, and formatting standards.
On-demand reports are generated at time of purchase, incorporating the most recent available data. Static reports are republished when underlying market conditions shift by >10% from baseline assumptions. Purchasers receive update notifications for 12 months.
