Scope of the Report

The global Nylon 6 Tire Cord Fabrics market size is predicted to grow from US$ 1,183 million in 2025 to US$ 1,684 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.1% from 2026 to 2032.

In 2025, global Nylon 6 Tire Cord Fabrics production reached approximately 403,000 tons with average price of 3,000 USD per ton.

Nylon 6 Tire Cord Fabric is a high-performance industrial textile woven with high-tenacity Nylon 6 (polycaprolactam) cord yarns as warp and fine elastic weft in an open, cord-like structure. After dipping with RFL adhesive, it bonds strongly with rubber, featuring high strength, excellent fatigue resistance, impact resistance and light weight. As the primary reinforcing skeleton for tires, it bears loads, transfers stress and enhances durability. It is widely used in bias tires, light truck, agricultural and off-the-road (OTR) tires, critical for tire safety and service life.

The upstream relies on petrochemicals, with caprolactam as the key monomer, polymerized into Nylon 6 chips, then spun and twisted into high-tenacity cord yarns. The midstream covers weaving and dipping: yarns are woven into greige fabric, then treated with RFL adhesive and heat-set to produce tire-grade cord fabric, requiring strict process and quality control. Downstream is closely tied to tire manufacturing, needing long-term certification before mass supply, serving commercial vehicles, construction machinery, agricultural equipment and two-wheelers. Some firms integrate upstream raw materials and expand into non-tire applications (e.g., conveyor belts), building full-chain collaboration.

The global market shows steady growth, supported by commercial vehicle parc, infrastructure investment and agricultural mechanization. Product upgrading is clear, moving toward high tenacity, low shrinkage, superior fatigue resistance and eco-friendly dipping to meet lightweight and low rolling resistance demands of new energy vehicles. Regional patterns feature gradient shifts: mature markets upgrade steadily, while emerging markets expand rapidly with industrial relocation and motorization. Non-tire applications (conveyor belts, drive belts) are growing as new drivers. Long-term trends include high performance, sustainability, smart manufacturing and industrial concentration.
