Scope of the Report

A Dual-Detector Gamma Camera is a type of medical imaging device that uses gamma rays to create images of the body"s internal structures for diagnostic purposes. It consists of two gamma-ray detectors, each with its own collimator and scintillation crystal, positioned opposite each other on either side of the patient. The detectors are able to rotate around the patient and capture images from multiple angles simultaneously, allowing for more detailed and accurate images than a single-detector gamma camera. As with a single-detector gamma camera, when gamma rays from a radioactive tracer interact with the scintillation crystal, they produce light that is detected by the photomultiplier tube or other sensor. The signals from both detectors are processed by a computer to create three-dimensional (3D) images of the body"s internal structures. Dual-detector gamma cameras are commonly used in nuclear medicine procedures such as bone scans, cardiac stress tests, and tumor imaging.dy simultaneously.

The main consumer markets for Dual-Detector Gamma Cameras are North America and the Asia Pacific region. With the gradual recovery of the global economy after the COVID-19 outbreak and the return of major economies to normal, the medical industry will see certain growth. As global medical standards continue to improve, more and more hospitals and clinics are able to carry out gamma camera examinations. As a result, the demand for Dual-Detector Gamma Cameras will increase in the foreseeable future.
