Scope of the Report

The fire and gas system is called FGS system, which stands for F-Fire, G-Gas, and S-System. The fire and gas system is a safety management system for fire and gas detection. It collects the monitoring signals of fire buttons, smoke, fire, combustible gas, and toxic gas at the chemical plant site, and controls the alarm lights, alarm bells, rain valves, foam valves, and fresh air inlet valves of the air conditioning system through software logic output. The fire and gas system conducts continuous online monitoring of the site through on-site equipment, promptly discovers fires and existing fire hazards, and takes decisive measures to control the occurrence and further spread of fires, so as to protect personnel and facilities. In general, the fire and gas system is connected to a broadcasting system. When a fire occurs, the broadcasting system will immediately activate the fire alarm and the platform will enter the fire emergency plan. The emergency commander will be able to determine the location of the fire through the fire and gas system workstation or DSC interface to guide the search team and the fire extinguishing team to rush to the scene as soon as possible to extinguish the fire. At the same time, the fire and gas systems are generally connected to the corresponding emergency shutdown system. When a fire occurs, the emergency shutdown system will issue a shutdown command according to the alarm level of the fire and gas system to ensure that the accident is under control.

Global key Fire and Gas System players cover MSA, Drager, Honeywel, New Cosmos Electric, Emerson, etc.
