Vue d'ensemble

Scope of the Report

An offshore wind tower is a structure used to build wind turbines offshore. It usually consists of multiple parts, including foundation, tower and nacelle. A foundation is a structure fixed to the seabed that supports the entire wind turbine. The tower is the structure that extends upward from the foundation to support the nacelle and the turbine. The nacelle is the structure mounted on top of the tower and contains the turbines and other equipment necessary to convert wind energy into electricity.

Offshore wind power towers are wind turbines built in deep waters. They can get more consistent and stronger wind energy than onshore wind turbines and therefore generate more electricity. In addition, Offshore Wind Tower can avoid environmental and visual pollution on land and can better meet energy needs.

Global key Offshore Wind Tower players cover Prysmian Group, Nexans, Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd., Southwire Company, LLC, LS Cable & System, etc.
