Scope of the Report

Ultrafiltration (UF) is a type of membrane filtration system used for water treatment. It is a process that uses a membrane to remove particles, colloids, and macromolecules from water, allowing only clean water to pass through.

The UF system uses a membrane with pore sizes ranging from 0.1 to 0.01 micrometers, which is much smaller than the pore sizes used in microfiltration and nanofiltration. This allows for the removal of particles and molecules that are too small to be filtered by other systems.

In the UF process, water is pumped through the membrane under pressure, and the clean water passes through the membrane while the contaminants are trapped on the other side. This creates a concentrated solution of contaminants, which can be disposed of or further treated.

The UF system is commonly used in industrial, commercial, and municipal water treatment applications. It is an effective method for removing suspended solids, bacteria, and viruses from water, and is often used as a pre-treatment step before reverse osmosis or other purification processes.

Global key Ultrafiltration System for Water Treatment players cover Dow Water & Process Solutions, Hydranautics, Koch Membrane Systems, Pall Corporation, Toray Industries, Inc., etc.
