Vue d'ensemble

Scope of the Report

The full-face rock tunneling machine is a heavy machinery used for underground mining and excavation operations to cut hard rock and other geological structures. This is a roadheader, which is characterized by a large rotary cutting head with multiple cutting bits. It can excavate the entire cross section of the tunnel or road at one time, so it is named "full section". The cutting head of the full-face rock tunneling machine is designed to be strong enough to cut hard rock and other hard materials, but also accurate enough to form a smooth tunnel or road surface. The machine is operated by a skilled operator who controls the movement and cutting speed of the machine from a remote location (usually a control room or cab away from the machine). It is particularly useful in hard rock environments because traditional drilling and blasting methods are not effective or too dangerous due to the risk of rock falling and other hazards. By using full-face rock tunneling machines, mining and construction personnel can dig tunnels and roads more safely, quickly and efficiently.

Global key Full-face Rock Roadheader players cover Sandvik AB, Caterpillar Inc., Komatsu Ltd., Hitachi Construction Machinery Co. Ltd., Robbins Company, etc.
