Scope of the Report

The global CD73 and DDR1-Targeted Drugs for Digestive System Tumors market size is predicted to grow from US$ 233 million in 2025 to US$ 422 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 9.3% from 2026 to 2032.

CD73- and DDR1-targeted drugs for digestive system tumors are therapeutic or diagnostic agents designed to selectively bind to or inhibit CD73 or discoidin domain receptor 1 (DDR1), two proteins involved in tumor growth, immune evasion, stromal remodeling, invasion and treatment resistance in gastrointestinal cancers.

CD73-targeted drugs act against ecto-5′-nucleotidase, an enzyme that converts extracellular AMP into immunosuppressive adenosine. By blocking CD73 or using CD73 as a tumor-associated imaging target, these agents aim to reduce adenosine-mediated immune suppression, improve antitumor immune responses and identify CD73-expressing lesions.

DDR1-targeted drugs act against a collagen-activated receptor tyrosine kinase that regulates tumor–stroma interactions, extracellular-matrix signaling, cancer-cell migration and fibrotic barriers. Inhibiting or targeting DDR1 may reduce tumor invasion, improve immune-cell penetration and enhance drug delivery.
