Scope of the Report

The global Enameled Wire market size is predicted to grow from US$ 29,410 million in 2025 to US$ 46,370 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 6.8% from 2026 to 2032.

Enameled wire (or magnet wire) is a copper or aluminium wire coated with a very thin layer of insulation. It is used in the construction of transformers, inductors, motors, speakers, hard disk head actuators, potentiometers, electromagnets, and other applications which require tight coils of wire. The wire itself is most often fully annealed, electrolytically refined copper. Aluminium magnet wire is sometimes used for large transformers and motors. An aluminium wire must have 1.6 times the cross sectional area as a copper wire to achieve comparable DC resistance. Due to this, copper magnet wires contribute to improving energy efficiency in equipment such as electric motors. In 2024, global Enameled wire production reached approximately 2,584.97 K MT, with an average global market price of around US$ 9.21 per kg.

Technological innovations have an important role in driving the growth of the market. To sustain in the competitive market, vendors should develop new ideas and technologies and stay up-to-date with the advanced technologies. PEEK enameled wire (temperature resistant 240°C+), anti-corona composite enameled wire (for variable frequency motors), and ultrafine/special-shaped wire (such as 0.01mm ultrafine wire). Aluminum replacing copper (copper-clad aluminum wire offers better plasticity, lower weight, and lower price). Key companies covered as a part of this study include Jintian Copper, Jingda, Grandwall Technology, LS Cable (Superior Essex), Sumitomo Electric, Gold Cup Electric, Citychamp Dartong, Elektrisola, Dahrén Group, Proterial, Ltd, IRCE, Synflex Group, Roshow Technology, Hongyuan Magnet Wire, De Angelli, PEWC, Ederfil Becker, Acebsa, Jingwei Huikai and ZML, etc. The top 6 market participants have a market share of 46.61%, and the market is relatively fragmented.
