Scope of the Report

The global Mining Vehicle Tire market size is predicted to grow from US$ 4,160 million in 2025 to US$ 4,800 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 2.1% from 2026 to 2032.

Mining vehicle tires are special engineering tires designed for heavy-duty mining machinery such as dump trucks, loaders, and graders. They are oversized, high-load-bearing, highly puncture-resistant, and wear-resistant. They typically use multi-layered high-strength steel cord fabric, thickened treads, and special rubber compounds to cope with harsh mining conditions (such as sharp rocks, high temperatures, high loads, and long-distance slopes). Common sizes range from 59/80R63 to giant sizes like 63×49, with single tires weighing 5–10 tons and costing hundreds of thousands of yuan. The upstream of the industry chain includes suppliers of basic raw materials such as natural rubber, synthetic rubber, carbon black, and steel cord; the midstream is dominated by global oligopolies in the manufacturing sector, with international giants such as Michelin, Bridgestone, Goodyear, and Continental occupying the high-end market; and the downstream mainly serves large open-pit coal mines, iron ore mines, copper mines, and equipment leasing service providers. In 2024, the global production of mining vehicle tires reached 198,000 units, with an average selling price of US$20,979 per tire, a single production line capacity of 2,000 units, and a gross profit margin of 32%.

In 2022, global tire sales reached 1.749 billion units, of which the three major markets of Europe, North America and China will collectively sell 1.14 billion units, accounting for 65% of the total. China is the world's largest tire producer and exporter. Among the top 75 tire companies in 2022 released by Tire Business, 34 are Chinese companies (including 5 from Taiwan), with a total sale of approximately US$ 34.5 billion, accounting for approximately 19.42% of the total global sales. According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, by the end of December 2022, the output of rubber tire casings in China was about 856 million. According to the data of the General Administration of Customs, in 2022, the cumulative export volume of rubber tires in China was 7.65 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.7%; the export value was ¥131.418 billion, an increase of 16%; the trade surplus was 103.709 billion yuan, an increase of ¥15.89 billion.
