Vue d'ensemble
Scope of the Report
The global Commercial Fire-proof Door market size is predicted to grow from US$ 3,406 million in 2025 to US$ 4,987 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.5% from 2026 to 2032.
In 2025, the global production of commercial fire-proof doors will reach 31.365 million units, with an average selling price of 111 US dollars per unit. Commercial fire-proof doors are door products specifically designed for commercial buildings such as shopping malls and office buildings. They are made of fire-resistant materials such as steel, fire-resistant glass, gypsum board, etc., and are equipped with fireproof sealing strips and fire-resistant hardware. Their main function is to isolate the fire source, block the spread of smoke and heat, and provide more evacuation time for people inside the building. Their application scenarios include shopping malls, office buildings, public corridors, etc. The upstream raw materials of the industry include steel, wood, aluminum, core materials, hardware, sealing materials, fire-resistant glass, surface coatings and adhesive materials, etc. Steel is the most core bulk raw material for steel fireproof doors, and the door panels, door frames, reinforcement parts and some internal components of steel fireproof doors rely highly on galvanized steel plates, cold-rolled steel plates, stainless steel, etc.; wood is an important raw material for wooden fireproof doors, wood-structured doors and some door frames, and decorative materials; aluminum is mainly used as door frames, door panels, decorative edging and matching profiles for fire-resistant glass, with characteristics of light weight, corrosion resistance and good processing performance. Its high-temperature bearing capacity is lower than that of steel, and it is more commonly used in aluminum alloy fireproof glass doors and fire separation systems with higher requirements for aesthetics and lightweight. Common core materials/filling systems include gypsum-based, mineral wool/ceramic wool-based, calcium silicate/cement composite-based and other non-combustible or difficult-to-combust materials; sealing materials are key functional materials. Currently, the main expansion materials used for fireproof door sealing include hydrated sodium silicate, expanded graphite, and ammonium phosphate (MAP). The initial expansion temperature, expansion ratio, compression method and application position of different materials are all different. The gross profit margin ranges from 20% to 45%.
From a global perspective, the industry as a whole is in a stage of stable growth and is approaching a relatively mature stage. However, driven by factors such as urban renewal, stricter fire regulations, and the construction demands of emerging markets, it still maintains the potential for continuous growth. From a regional perspective, the global market exhibits a typical "multi-polar distribution" pattern. The Chinese market holds an important position globally, while emerging markets such as India are growing at a faster rate. This is also closely related to the adjustment cycle of China's real estate industry. Affected by the sluggishness of the real estate industry, the number of commercial projects has decreased, and the demand for fireproof doors in the growth market has been significantly impacted, weakening the growth momentum of the industry. In this context, the demand structure in the Chinese market is undergoing a transformation, shifting from being dominated by new construction projects to the renovation of existing buildings and the replacement of second-hand ones. A large number of existing commercial buildings have entered the renewal cycle, and coupled with the stricter supervision of fire safety, the demand for maintenance, replacement, and upgrading of fireproof doors continues to be released. From the consumer end, North America is currently the largest global market for fireproof doors, followed by Europe and China. In terms of growth potential, the Indian market stands out particularly, with this growth mainly attributed to the acceleration of India's urbanization process and the gradual improvement of fire safety regulations, resulting in a rapid release of demand.
