Key Players: Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Johnson & Johnson, Jinjiang Electronic
Vue d'ensemble
Scope of the Report
As an emerging ablation therapy, pulsed field ablation uses high-intensity electric fields to cause irreversible electrical injury to tissues, destroy cell membranes, and lead to high cell permeability and death, thereby achieving the effect of tissue ablation. This new type of pulsed electric field ablation technology can generate microsecond-level pulsed electric fields during the ablation process and create nanosecond-level micropores on the cell membrane to achieve "electroporation." Compared with smooth muscles and nerve cells, cardiomyocytes have the lowest threshold for pulsed electric fields, making them the first to undergo necrosis during pulsed electric field ablation. Pulsed field ablation has the advantages of tissue selectivity, non-thermal energy ablation, and fast electric field action, and has gradually developed worldwide.
Global key Pulsed Field Ablation System players cover Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Johnson & Johnson, Jinjiang Electronic, etc.
