Scope of the Report
The global Automotive Plastic Fuel Tank Tie Layer Resins market size is predicted to grow from US$ 300 million in 2025 to US$ 375 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 3.3% from 2026 to 2032.
The automotive plastic fuel tank tie layer resins is usually maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene (PE-g-MAH), also known as bonding resin or compatibilizer. It is mainly used to connect the interface between high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and barrier layer materials (such as ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer EVOH) to solve the bonding problem between different materials. PE-g-MAH chemically reacts with the polar groups of EVOH through maleic anhydride groups, and has good compatibility with HDPE, thereby ensuring that the layers in the multi-layer structure of the fuel tank have a strong bonding strength and meet the sealing and mechanical performance requirements of the fuel tank in long-term use.
Global key Automotive Plastic Fuel Tank Tie Layer Resins players cover Mitsubishi Chemical, mitsui chemicals, Polyram, etc.
