Scope of the Report
The global Low Temperature Sealing Glass Paste market size is predicted to grow from US$ 37.45 million in 2025 to US$ 49.03 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 3.9% from 2026 to 2032.
In 2025, global sales volume of Low Temperature Sealing Glass Paste was approximately 1,400 metric tons, with a blended ex-factory price of around USD 26 per kilogram. Gross margins of major manufacturers were approximately 35%–48%.
Low Temperature Sealing Glass Paste is a ready-to-use functional paste formulated with low-melting-point or low-softening-point glass powder as the principal inorganic component, together with ceramic filler, organic vehicle, solvent, and rheological additive. It is generally suitable for screen printing, dispensing, and coating processes. The product typically undergoes binder burnout and firing at temperatures not exceeding 500°C. During firing, the glass particle softens and wets the substrate, forming a continuous and dense glassy sealing layer after cooling. This layer provides bonding, structural fixation, electrical insulation, and hermetic sealing between components. The relatively low sealing temperature reduces the overall thermal load on the device, minimizes stress, warpage, and cracking caused by thermal expansion mismatch among glass, ceramic, metal, and semiconductor chip, protects temperature-sensitive component, suppresses metal oxidation, undesirable interfacial reaction, and material degradation, and lowers firing energy consumption.
The upstream supply chain of Low Temperature Sealing Glass Paste mainly includes low-melting-point glass frit or glass powder, oxide and ceramic filler, organic resin, solvent, dispersant, thickener, and other functional additive, as well as equipment for glass melting, powder grinding, particle-size classification, paste mixing, and deaeration. Downstream demand primarily comes from the packaging and assembly of electronic device and precision component. Printing, dispensing, pre-drying, and firing processes are used to bond and seal sensor, semiconductor package, optoelectronic device, display device, and vacuum device.
