Scope of the Report

The global O-RAN market size is predicted to grow from US$ 5,241 million in 2025 to US$ 17,240 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 18.7% from 2026 to 2032.

Open RAN is the movement in wireless telecommunications to disaggregate hardware and software and to create open interfaces between them. O-RAN opens the interface between the BBU and RRU / RRH which enables any vendor’s software to work on any open RRU / RRH. open interfaces enable the use of one supplier's radios with another's processors – which is not possible with CRAN or vRAN. Open RAN makes the RAN open within all aspects and components, with the interfaces and operating software separating the RAN control plane from the user plane.

The core global O-RAN manufacturers include Samsung, Nokia, NEC, Juniper Networks and Fujitsu. The top five manufacturers account for approximately 49% of the global share. Samsung is the world's largest O-RAN manufacturer, with a market share of approximately 12%. North America is the world's largest O-RAN markets, with a market share of approximately 42%. In terms of product types, traditional open RAN occupies a dominant position, accounting for 82% of the market share. At the same time, in terms of applications, indoor base stations are the largest application field, accounting for 79%.

This report presents a comprehensive overview of the global O-RAN market, covering market size and forecast, segmentation by product type and application, competitive landscape, leading players and regional and country-level outlook.
