Overzicht
Scope of the Report
The global Partial Oxidation Blue Hydrogen market size is predicted to grow from US$ 412 million in 2025 to US$ 893 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 11.8% from 2026 to 2032.
Partial Oxidation Blue Hydrogen refers to low-carbon hydrogen produced by reacting a hydrocarbon feedstock with a sub-stoichiometric amount of oxygen at high temperatures in a partial oxidation reactor, generating a synthesis gas composed primarily of hydrogen and carbon monoxide. In 2025,global partial oxidation blue hydrogen production reached approximately 120,242 ton, with an average global market price of around USD 3,500 per ton. A factory gross profit of USD 770 per ton with 22% gross margin. A single line full machine capacity production is around 3,000 ton per line per year. The upstream is dependent on gas suppliers, catalyst manufacturers. The downstream demand is concentrated in refining, chemical manufacturing and power generation. POX blue hydrogen is used to remove sulfur from crude oil fractions, producing cleaner diesel. US and Canada leads driven by large scale production due to significant goverment subsidies.
Global key Partial Oxidation Blue Hydrogen players cover Shell plc (Netherlands), Air Products & Chemicals Inc. (US), Linde plc (UK), Air Liquide S.A. (France), Equinor ASA (Norway), etc.
