The dipping stage typically uses resorcinol-formaldehyde-latex (RFL) or alternative adhesion systems to ensure strong bonding between the cord and rubber matrix.

Downstream, polyester tire cords are supplied to tire manufacturers, where they are calendered into rubber sheets and integrated into tire carcasses. Final demand is driven by the tire industry, including passenger vehicles, light commercial vehicles, and certain off-the-road segments. Supporting industries include industrial chemicals for dipping solutions, textile machinery for spinning and twisting, and testing equipment for quality and performance validation. The chain is highly quality-sensitive, as tire safety regulations require strict consistency and traceability.
