Visão geral

Scope of the Report

The global Spiral Strand market size is predicted to grow from US$ 313 million in 2025 to US$ 429 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 4.6% from 2026 to 2032.

In 2025, global Spiral Strand approximately 236,974 km, with an average global market price of around US$ 1.35 per meter. Gross margin is about 51%. The cost is 0.66 usd. The Production is about 300,000 km. Spiral Rope (Spiral Strand Steel Wire Rope) is a high-strength load-bearing steel cable formed by helically winding multiple layers of steel wires around a central core in the same direction, creating a dense, low-elongation structure with excellent tensile capacity, fatigue resistance, and durability. Compared with conventional stranded wire rope, its compact structure provides higher stiffness, smoother surface, and better corrosion protection, making it suitable for long-term structural and suspension applications. Upstream, it relies on high-carbon steel wire rod, wire drawing and heat-treatment processes, galvanizing or Zn-Al coating materials, and sometimes polymer sheathing. Midstream manufacturers perform wire drawing, stranding/spiral closing, compaction, lubrication, and protective coating to produce finished ropes of various diameters and strength grades. Downstream, spiral ropes are widely used in bridge stay cables, aerial ropeways and cable cars, mining hoisting systems, lifting equipment, power transmission guy wires, and structural support or anchoring systems, where high strength, low stretch, and long service life are critical.

Global key Spiral Strand players cover Fatzer, Bekaert, WireCo WorldGroup, Kiswire, Tokyo Rope Mfg., etc.
