Visão geral

Scope of the Report

Chemical grade lithium concentrate refers to lithium concentrate used for processing lithium chemicals. Its Li2O content (Li2O grade) is 4% - 6%. It is mainly used for conversion into lithium carbonate, lithium hydroxide, lithium metal and other battery materials. And further used in the production of lithium battery cathode materials. In contrast to technical grade concentrates, there is no range of iron, feldspar or other impurities in chemical grade lithium concentrates.

Lithium concentrate is used in numerous applications which can be divided into two broad categories: chemical applications and technical applications. Currently, the largest global market for lithium is for use in glass and ceramics (technical applications). And the fastest growing (and second-largest) market for lithium globally is for use in batteries (chemical applications).
