Visão geral

Scope of the Report

Focused ultrasound ablation is an advanced non-invasive or minimally invasive treatment technology. Focused ultrasound ablation uses the directionality, penetrability and focusing characteristics of the ultrasound beam to focus the low-energy ultrasound emitted from the body on the lesion site in the body. At the focus, the ultrasound energy is converted into heat energy, causing the local tissue temperature to rise rapidly to above 60°C, and may even reach 100°C. This high temperature effect causes coagulative necrosis of the lesion tissue, thereby achieving the purpose of treatment.

During the actual treatment process, the doctor uses medical imaging technologies such as B-ultrasound to monitor and locate the lesion in real time. Subsequently, the focused ultrasound ablation device is used to focus the ultrasound on the lesion area and scan layer by layer until the entire lesion tissue is completely ablated. The entire treatment process does not require surgery or bleeding, and the tissue organs and their structural functions are preserved, achieving true "non-invasive treatment".

Focused ultrasound ablation surgery has been widely used in the treatment of a variety of benign and malignant solid tumors, including but not limited to gynecological diseases such as uterine fibroids, adenomyosis, placenta implantation, cesarean section scar pregnancy, abdominal wall endometriosis, and malignant tumors such as liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, kidney cancer, and bone tumors. In addition, this technology is also used to treat benign diseases of some organs, such as prostate hypertrophy.

With the continuous advancement of medical technology and the deepening of clinical application, focused ultrasound ablation surgery will show its unique advantages in more fields. In the future, this technology is expected to achieve greater breakthroughs in treating more types of tumors, improving treatment effects, and reducing treatment costs. At the same time, with the continuous upgrading and improvement of related equipment, the operation of focused ultrasound ablation surgery will be simpler, safer and more effective.
