Visão geral

Scope of the Report

The global Horticulture Mulch Films market size is predicted to grow from US$ 1,553 million in 2025 to US$ 2,075 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 4.3% from 2026 to 2032.

Global sales of horticulture mulch films reached 650,000 tons in 2024, with an average selling price of US$2,355 per ton.

Horticulture Mulch Films are plastic films used in agricultural and gardening practices to cover the soil surface around plants. These films serve multiple purposes, enhancing plant growth and health by providing a protective barrier and improving the overall cultivation environment.

The main raw material is linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) or low-density polyethylene (LDPE) resin, accounting for approximately 80%–85% of the total cost. Depending on color or functional requirements, 3%–10% of black masterbatch, silver-gray masterbatch, anti-drip agents, antioxidants, and other additives are added. Processing electricity consumption, labor, and depreciation account for 5%–10% of the total cost. Therefore, resin prices directly determine the price of horticulture mulch films; the more complex the functional layers and the thicker the film, the higher the unit cost.
