Visão geral

Scope of the Report

The global Phenylene Silicone Rubber market size is predicted to grow from US$ 388 million in 2025 to US$ 564 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.6% from 2026 to 2032.

Phenylene silicone rubber refers to a polydimethylsiloxane-methylvinylsiloxane-diphenylsiloxane copolymer containing phenylene in the main chain of the molecule, usually polymerized from bis(amine)diphenylsilane and p,p'-diphenol. It is a milky white or amber plastic with unique chemical and physical properties. Phenylene silicone rubber has an extremely high melting point, generally up to 300°C, and short-term heat resistance can even reach 600°C. It can remain stable after heating at 500°C for one hour, showing excellent high temperature resistance. Due to the introduction of phenylene groups, the radiation resistance of phenylene silicone rubber is significantly improved, and it can withstand radiation such as neutrons and gamma rays. Due to its excellent high temperature and radiation resistance, phenylene silicone rubber is widely used in the manufacture of coatings in spacecraft, as well as sealing materials and wires and cables in nuclear reactors and nuclear power plants.

Global key Phenylene Silicone Rubber players cover 3M, Chemours, Daikin, MingYi Silicone, Dow Chemical, etc.
