Visão geral

Scope of the Report

The global Flyash market size is predicted to grow from US$ 16,910 million in 2025 to US$ 18,950 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 1.7% from 2026 to 2032.

Flyash, also known as fly ash, is a coal combustion product that is composed of the particulates (fine particles of burned fuel) that are driven out of coal-fired boilers together with the flue gases. Flyash is an extremely fine powder consisting of spherical particles less than 50 microns in size. Fly ash is one of the construction industry"s most commonly used pozzolans. Pozzolans are siliceous or siliceous/alumina materials possessing the ability to form cementitious compounds when mixed with lime (calcium hydroxide, or Ca(OH)2) and water.

Fly ash concrete has also been praised for its environmental benefits as a “green” building material—putting to use an energy production byproduct that reduces the demand for carbon-intensive portland cement and requires less water in the hydration process.

At present, most of fly ash products are not recycled, and only 40-80% of fly ash is recycled. Since the recycling of fly ash has been encouraged and supported by many countries, the market for recycling of fly ash has been growing steadily.

The major players in global Flyash market include LafargeHolcim, CEMEX, Anhui Conch Cement, etc. The top 3 players occupy about 10% shares of the global market. China and India are main markets, they occupy about 70% of the global market. Class F is the main type, with a share about 50%. Cement & Concrete is the main application, which holds a share about 55%.
