Scope of the Report

The global Electric Motor Stator market size is predicted to grow from US$ 46,017 million in 2025 to US$ 79,657 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 8.2% from 2026 to 2032.

An electric motor stator is the stationary part of an electric motor. It contains the core (usually laminated steel) and windings (copper coils) that generate a rotating magnetic field when electrical current passes through them. This magnetic field interacts with the rotor to produce torque and enable motor rotation. In 2025, global Electric Motor Stator production reached approximately 1.68 B units, with an average global market price of around US$ 28 per unit. Annual production capacity is 2.04 B units. Gross Profit Margin: 22%.The electric motor stator sits at the core of the motor manufacturing industry chain, linking upstream materials to downstream application systems. Upstream mainly includes electrical steel (silicon steel laminations), copper conductors, insulation materials, and precision stamping equipment. Midstream manufacturers such as ABB, Siemens, Nidec, and Wolong process these materials into stator cores and windings through stamping, stacking, winding, and assembly. Downstream demand comes from electric vehicles, industrial automation, HVAC systems, robotics, and aerospace applications, where stators are typically integrated into complete motor systems rather than sold as standalone components. The stator is a highly “invisible but value-critical” component. Although it is rarely seen by end users, it directly determines motor efficiency, power density, and thermal performance, making it a key competitive battleground in EVs and high-efficiency industrial systems. In my view, the most important trend is the shift toward high-fill-factor technologies such as hairpin windings and high-efficiency silicon steel, which are rapidly increasing both performance and manufacturing complexity. This is turning the stator from a traditional commodity part into a technology-driven, margin-sensitive component.

Global key Electric Motor Stator players cover Abb Ltd, Siemens Ag, Nidec Corporation, Robert Bosch Gmbh, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, etc.
