Scope of the Report

The global Aerospace and Defense Prepreg market size is predicted to grow from US$ 7,712 million in 2025 to US$ 14,800 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 9.9% from 2026 to 2032.

Pre-preg is a composite material made from "pre-impregnated" fibers and a partially cured polymer matrix, such as epoxy or phenolic resin, or even thermoplastic mixed with liquid rubbers or resins. The fibers often take the form of a weave and the matrix is used to bond them together and to other components during manufacture. This technique can be utilized in the aviation industry. As in principle, prepreg has the potential to be processed batch sizes. Despite fiber glass having high applicability in aircraft specifically small aircraft motors, carbon fiber is employed in this type of industry at a higher rate, and the demand for it is increasing.

The aerospace and defense segment dominated the Prepreg market because prepregs are usedto manufacture aircraft interiors, aerospace components, aircraft flooring, cargo liners, and honeycomb and foam panels. The increase in aircraft production can be attributed to improved commercial aviation networks, growth of the tourism industry, rapid economic development, and increased air passenger traffic. Hexcel Corporation set up a new engineered core operations factory in Morocco in May 2023 to meet the increased demand for lightweight and advanced composite materials used in the aerospace industry.
